[Sticky] Profile giudance

Start out by Clicking the Account link at the top Forum menu bar. All the things happen from there.

1. Cover photo: you can choose a photo to sit behind your profile picture by clicking the little picture icon right above the date you joined the forum. Don't like it? Click the icon again and tap reset. You could do this all day, but you won't because TIME MANAGEMENT.
2. Profile: Tap the icon under the picture icon to edit your account info. By default, you land on the profile tab where you can enter all kinds of detail. Restrain yourself and focus on sharing professional stuff. 😉 
   • Display name: however you want to show up in the forum (initials, full name, some combo - it's up to you).
   • Nickname: how the system builds your profile link, and how others can tag you in the forums.
   • Email: self-explanatory
   • Title: by default, it's boring and says Member. Jazz it up a little, says the Wise Old Crone.
   • Avatar: choose how you want to show up (just like life!). Upload a photo or avatar if you don't want the default.
   • About Me: a bit of a bio, if you choose.
   • Website: not mandatory.
   • Signature: what you'd like appended to your forum posts
   • Social Networks: add the ones that make sense to share with the group.
   • Location: who else remembers the days of a/s/l online? Share your location to help others get a sense of your geography.
   • Timezone: optional again.
3.  Save your changes! Or, you know, redo it a few times until you remember, like me. 😉 

Click the Members tab in the forum main menu and you'll see how you show up.
